Moneysupermarket cashback
Hi,
Registered today specifically to ask the boards a question about cashback - any answers would be much appreciated!
In October I made the switch to Scottish Power using moneysupermarket. Now I think I am going mad because I am sure that the cashback offer at that time was £40. I still haven't received the cash as yet - I was aware that it can take 3 months so only 'phoned MS recently. I was told it was £30. Normally I print off details of the offer but on this occasion I didn't. Of course, the switch application confirmation provided by MS is a bit light on detail to say the least and I don't have a way of confirming the cashback offer.
I checked the switching/comparison sites recently and remember being surprised that the cashback was only £30 - my perception was that it had been reduced since Q4 last year. I may well be mistaken but I genuinely thought the going rate was £40 back then.
Is anyone able to confirm that the offer has always been £30? If so I'll go back with my tail between my legs and admit my confusion to MS.
Thanks!
