Land compensation(scotland) act 1973

Last year a new bypass was opened near my cottage and I have recieved two letters from two companies Thomson Broadbent and Samuel Rose saying i could get compensation payment based on the impact on the property value due to noise lighting and pollution from the new bypass

our cottage used to sit away from any main road with no street lighting and very quiet, now we have a bypass very close to house street lighting now shines down and we no longer stay in the dark quiet house we have for passed 43 years

has anyone ever heard of any of these companys or ever won any kind of compensation,

i know i have nothing to lose as it a no win no fee service but never did anything like this before.

find out who you are actually claiming off.
it maybe simpler to claim yourself directly and save any fees/commission etc...
ive heard of peeps claiming successfully off power companies over power lines.
    Get some gorm.
