nutella spread

It tastes bloomin' fantastic.

But why o why is it so tough? Good luck trying to spread it on non-toasted bread without ripping it to bits :(

    Ermm...

    think i'll go down the radiator route if anything ;)

    Maybe before going to bed at night i'll do this ready for central heating to come on at 6AM - nice and soft for making sandwiches before work :D

    15 second blast in microwave, just make sure all the foil bit is off first

    If you're using it to dip pretzels into it doesn't matter that it's a bit more solid, so I suggest using it for that instead :D

    To answer the question, it's because it contains a lot of oil and the consistency of oil various from that of water at high temperatures to that of solid wax a low. Different oils exhibit different properties at different temperatures, of course.
