i have had a bad dream that my husband has died and i am completely over run with debt and saw no way out. i then woke up and realised just how easy this could happen. i have recently married and not taken my change of circumstance in to account to cover our family. i had taken out a £100,000 if you die policy as i was a single parent and wanted to make sure that money was there for whoever took my kids on. i also have a die at work get years salary type of thing at work but am entering my 2nd year of sick leave due to disc problem (just had operation) and dont know how much longer they will keep me on. i receive dla now but is not a forever thing (hopefully). my husband also gets a years salary if he dies. we also took out a £10,000 policy we saw in paper that had a free gift (sad i know) we have a £50k debt that we kind of manage between us but if god forbid my husband dies my dream could easily come reality. the 3 babies i was so worried about are all older. eldest 22 living with boyfriend, 18 yrs old about to go to university and 14 yr old boy at home. at the age of 40 we need to have something that will pay out later as well as covering the now. i am completely useless at this and am desperate to know what way to turn. i have read some but its a mine field. please can someone in the know please tell me what to do, i have given myself a panic attack with the worry. it will need to be in real basic english. thank you so much for reading this and i really hope someone will take pity on me????
