Not sure if this has already been posted but I thought I'd make a step by step guide on how to get 5 star hotels for cheap using IHG friends and family rate.

This includes hotels from the Intercontinental Hotel Group also known as IHG which is made up of the following brands: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and Candlewood Suites.
