Touchpad Help!!

Hi,
I have an Acer Aspire 3613 laptop.Today,my daughter has been using it and now the touchpad wont work and i cant figure out what she has done.When i try to switch it back on with the hotkey(<Fn+F7) it just 'beeps' and nothing happens.The pointer still works fine with the wireless mouse.Any help would be great.Thanks in advance

    Reload the drivers from the installation disk or from here.

    I've reloaded the touch pad driver but still no joy.Anything else it could be?

  • sory dont know try getting it fixed or fone up acer they will help

    I had sort of the same problem I took the battery out for about half an hour and put it back in and when the login screen came up i pressed fn+f7 and said touchpad enabled. try that if not then i am afraid i dont no

    Brilliant.Just took the battery out for 10 mins or so and hey presto its back on again.Thanks for the tip
