Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

Maybe somebody would like to ask him about Free ID Protection?

    Q. How may people using Free ID Protection have fallen victim to ID theft?

    A. (In case James isn't aware, the answer is is a big fat) ZERO in the last 5 years.

No but your clogging up the boards and making it less likely that people with questions or problems won't get a decent response.

That is an incredible idea and so simple.

Only downside is that with a notice of correction all applications must be manually approved.

I guess it's worth waiting a while if it reduces the chance of fraud though.

The chance of fraud is very low and for this reason we recommend people only add a note to their report (usually including a password) if they are a victim of fraud already or there's a heightened risk of fraud, for example, if your purse/wallet's been stolen.

The average fraud victim (c125k reported last year) takes 14 months to discover it, by which time the damage is at its maximum. People who choose to monitor for fraud are likely to spot any attempted fraud very quickly and therefore limit the damage. I guess, like insurance, it's a peace of mind thing for most.
