Adobe reader help!!

I have gone on a company website to apply for a job with a closing date of 10th Feb, It opens and saves as Adobe.....how do I edit this so I can complete the application or can I open it as a word document?

Hi there, in general terms you cannot edit a PDF file (thats part of the reason they exist). It is possible using extra pieces of software, but not easily..
I would say that if you have been given the application in a PDF format they expect you to print it off and fill it in by hand..0 -
There's a number of sites offering PDF editing solutions. As I use Acrobat Pro I can't make any recommendations

If you can send it by snail mail, what you can do is use Word (or similar) to add the text in the appropriate places on an otherwise blank page. Then print the blank adobe file and overprint with the word file.
Bit of a faff on to get it just right. But it can be done.
Using text boxes without borders in word lets you position the text accurately. You can put a table in a text box
I print the adobe file then the Word file separate. Hold it up to the light to see them together. Saves reprinting the adobe file every time.
