Paying cpp not sure from what company and bank cant help!!!

Hi
Just spoken to my bank to cancel a card protection payment I have been paying, every April since I dont now when, they cant tell me who I am paying, how can this be???
Tried CPP and they say they dont have me on their system. Does anyone know of any other companies it could be? I think it might have started whilst I was at uni in 2001.. I think I remember correspondence with white background with red and green writing on front?????
If I cant find out is my only option to change bank account number??
