Help with kitchen surface

Hi.
Our small kitchen has a very unsavory mosiac tile worktop which is dirty and cracked. We don't have the funds to rip it out at teh moment but I wondered if I could cover it with a thin laminate (if one exists)
Does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks

If your kitchen is small, you could pop into some places and ask if they have any off cuts.

Sticky back plastic but it wouldnt be very serviceable.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • You need to find a thin formica finish board, I would use a self level cement to flatten the existing surface. You would need to overhang
the top and use a strip to finish the edge. Or use a thin MDF to cover and formica on top.. Or try your local tile shop for end of line and re cover, look on ebay under ceramics. Good luck

Personally, I'd be off down to B&Q and pick up a length of work top. Prices start at about £30 for a 3 metre length.
