Looking for an IVA IP recommendation.
Hello;
I have been speaking with the CCCS IVA people regarding a lump sum IVA. I have been advised to speak with 2 or more other IVA firms, to get a full picture of my situation and what the options are.
So, rather than pick an IVA firm at random using google, I thought I would ask for some recommendations. Has anyone a particurly good experience with a particular IVA firm?
Thankyou mucho in advance,
Cody

Have a look at https://www.iva.com for reviews on there and have a chat with a few to get a feel of who you feel you could build a relationship with over the next few years, My IP is Melanie Giles whom I contacted after looking at reviews and so far (12 months in) she and her team have been fantasticAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

As said above, Melanie Giles is a must chat to. McCambridge Duffy seem highly regarded too.0

What is the particular problem with Grant Thornton? I have negative feedback on many IPs, GT are just about average as far as I can see. I think one of the things you need to look at is the financial soundness of the IP, too many are falling over at the moment leaving the poor debtor in the lurch, GT have taken on some large books from some companies and that is a hell of a lot of work to tidy up. GT also have delegated authority from one or two lenders.0

Thanks everyone, will take a look at these firms.0

Grant Thornton are a well respected company. However, as Oplus mentions, they have taken over a few large books lately and, to be honest, customer service has suffered a little. The feeling I get is that the mess they inherited took them by surprise. I am sure they will recover though.
Personally speaking, they are a little too large for my liking, but that is no reflection on their service.0 -

I haven't had any problems with them so can't work out why so many people are anti GT.0
