have you tried Weledas baby calendula weather cream, that's really good too supposed to be similar to Elizabeth Ardens 8 hour cream.I'll look up so reviews online about Weledas baby calendula weather cream. Thank you for the recommodation.
If Weleda weather cream is anything like EA 8 Hour Cream, it's not a face cream, it a balm that's used for dry areas of skin like lips, chapped hands, cuticles etc., and also is the consistency of vaseline

I bought a tub of this after I read it's good for dry patches, and tried using it on my face. While it moisturizes nicely it's far too rich for my skin, will stick to using it for elbows/knees
Smells faintly of vanilla and the ingredients are - olea europese (olive oil), hydrogenated olive oil, vanillin, anthemis nobilis (chamomile oil).0 -
I use it on my face, hands, elbows and it is fabulous as well as cheap. As it's a Baby Bottom Butter the quality is great as well. I also have 'normal' moisturizers to use as well!#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I have been diagnosed with seborrheic dematitis and the doc prescribed me with nizoral to treat and hydromol to moisturize. The baby bottom butter is very similar in consistency to the hydromol, so I used it on my face, normally would never risk anything as skin is so sensitive, and whilst I wouldnt say I love, it seems to have the same effect as the hydromol. Put it on to protect me when swimming and bad weather, and if I feel my face is drying out. So now I carry a bbb with me and just have the hydromol by the bed, so I can always have access if needs be0

I use the baby bottom butter on my face occasionally at night. I find its consistency is like vaseline and it smells quite strongly similar to a milky bar, which i can still smell when its on my face. I quite like it and it seems to do my skin good, although i probably dont think its that good that id buy it again. I would definately find it too thick to use as a daytime moisturiser. Its good on other areas of the body after a shower too.0

I use it on my face, as well as body, but I have extremely dry skin, which is even worse in this cold weather! Wouldn't say it was highly scented, but would agree with the poster who said it smells a bit like a milkybar - it does!0

Wikinson's do a very similar thing for £1.94 that is called baby bump body butter (for the pregnancy bump not the baby's bum) that is amazing on knees, elbows and hands, but like the other posters have said, can be a bit heavy and greasy for the face unless your skin is very dry. Hardly any smell to it.
"Baby bump body butter. Helps to soften the skin which can be an aid to help prevent stretch marks. Contains shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil and coconut oil. Helps to firm, smooth and soften the skin, during and after pregnancy."Learning to live with an IVA - no overdraft - no credit cards - no safety net - very very scary _pale_ All advice gratefully received! :A0
