have we got the wrong combo?
we have lived in our house from new for 11 years.
we are currently with npower and their customer service is beyond crap.
so spoke to some alternatives , one of which said their is really no way we should have an economy 10 meter with gas central heating ( it should be wet electric apparently)
is this correct?
if it is it means the builder has screwed up royally or just didnt care
what can we do if true?
the house is in use all day every day because of severely disabled sons therapy.
also the radiators are failing due to build up ( The builder put in new extra thin bore pipes, just before they started introducing membranes to reduce oxide build up)
help!
what are our options
npower want to charge us £ 3,000 a year for our power!

It would be highly unlikely that E10 would be a suitable tariff if you have gas Central heating. It is normally used for some form of storage heating.
The advantage of having some electricity at lower rates is usually more than cancelled out by the higher rates for the rest of the time.
If you total all the kWh you use in a year and enter that in a comparison website for a single rate tariff you can compare costs.
The difficulty you face is getting a company to bill you on a single rate with an Economy 10 meter. Most companies do not cater for E10 - I wasn't aware that Npower was one of those companies.0
