                    Hi Everybody,
Opinions please on the computer shown below, now available from Aldi for £400(i would probably purchase the 17" monitor to go with it for £99).
I want to replace my 10 year old computer and I am considering this model but I have very little computer knowledge, when it comes down to spec and what is a 'good buy' for the money,I only use the computer for a bit of web surfing/shopping and sending a few e-mails.
Any advice would be a great help.
Thanks

This computer sounds like its designed to record TV. If all you truely do is bit of web surfing/shopping and sending a few e-mails then its a bit of an overkill.0 -
Thanks for the replies,I don't at present burn cd's or dvd's but if this computer has that function my daughter, when she comes home from uni might? is this a good computer for that?
Sorry to be so vague but my computer knowledge is very limited.0 -
I think you may find these are sold out at many aldi stores. There is a thread on grabbit board about them, and people were reporting them sold out in half an hour.HLK

Is there any way of figuring out what the processor speed is from that list of spec?
