Have always thought it was! Can anyone confirm do they really stop your payments if you dont attend?

    No it's not compulsory -but you will get your JSA stopped if you choose not to participate .

    I wonder what % of those would have got their job anyway, and what % were because of the work programme.

    I think I read we are not going to find out how successful this program is until the Autumn when the figures are released.

    yes it is and the JC will stop payments if you do not attend
