That said you will loose the colour - it will fade to a dusky shade. you can order ones which have been freeze dried I think, but not the same if you have some from roses your dad used to keep.
I don't know of any way of keeping the colour - there may be some preservatives?

Sorry can I be a pain again - how do you hang the head upside down??? Need all the info so I can practise on the big bouquet of roses I'll get for the valentines - or maybe it will actually be a trip to the supermarket. :rotfl:0 -
I just tie them with whatever is to hand, ribbon for example, around the stem then hang them. Try in the airing cupboard. MeganMay GC - £100 per week

Tell me about it!!! We are supplying drinks as we are having it at home and its cheaper than hiring a bar company and it's expected that it be there free, very annoying when I dont drink!
I also heard somewhere that one bride used fresh real petals as confetti but there was a petal stuck to her dress and she sat on it in the car and it stained her dress!0
