bal trans to husband's credit card????

Options
I'm new to this money saving malarky.

Can I balance transfer from my credit dard to pay off his debt? He is not in a position to get a new credit card himself.

Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.

Love the site........it could bring down capitalism if word got out.............

    Hi Jan

I do this all the time but do beware you are fully taking on this debt as your own..

    Best regards...

I done it with a mate couple yrs ago who was due me money, first time both were RBS cards, second was my RBS to his EGG, he transfered the amount off my visa to his as he was skint on two occassions and couldnt pay me back cash, he borrowed 0% for 18 months between me and his visa provider the second time, 6 months to me and then the remainder to EGG !
It worked out in both our favour, he got 0% 12 months to pay back the £1400 I got rid of debt that was sitting at approx 16% APR as I had not ever tarted my cards at that point, minus the £1400 I transferred £2400 to another visa and closed the RBS account, paid the £2400 0% over 12 months @ £200 then applied for this:-

And now i live in a totally intrest free in Visaland

Im no tart, im an absolute !!!!!!! :)

Shockingly RBS didnt even check both were in his name when he said yes to being asked!!!
If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
    If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:
