Advice about bathroom lights please

I am having a new bathroom put in the bath is going to have the side panels tiled and I was thinking about having some recessed lights along the bottom of the bath panel.

Would these be ok?

I dont know, lol, thats why I am asking. So does the transformer come with a standard plug on it? because if so, yes there would be no where to plug it in.

If these are not the right lights for the job do you know which ones are the correct ones?
    thanks for your time

The lights would need to permanently wired in, to a circuit protected by an RCD, and on a switch either located outside the bathroom, or operated by a ceiling pull cord. There's a lot of strict regulations around electrics in the bathroom because of the likelihood of them getting wet - especially around and under the bath - plus this work must be done by a "competent" person (i.e. a qualified electrician). Get an electrician in to advise you. Battery operated LED lights might be a better and cheaper option that could probably be DIYed.

Yes, an electrician is coming to fit them as we are having a new bathroom in, he is coming to do the extractor fan and ceiling lights so I wanted to get these for him to fit as well, but am unsure which are the correct ones.
