Should I pay by credit card

I wonder if anyone can help. We have a package holiday booked for the summer with Thomson. I paid the deposit by credit card, but would prefer to pay the balance by debit card. Just incase Thomson should go into administration, would we be better protected if it's all been paid by credit card?
TIA

you;ll be fine to pay it by debit card now, even if you had paid as little as £1 on your cc you are covered so all will be well.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I thought as long as you paid a minimum of £100 on your credit card (remaining balance on debit card), then the complete cost of the holiday was covered ?0

There is no minimum to be covered by Section 75. You can pay as little as £1 on a credit card and as long as the purchase is between £100 and £30000 you are covered.0

Pay as little as £1 and anything over £99 in cash or card totalling £100 or over you are covered under section 75.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Fantastic, thank you. Have already paid £200 so looks like we're covered. That will save us the card fee for paying the balance on c.card.0
