Money sent to Wrong & CLOSED Account

I recently closed my santander account and moved all funds into a new Halifax Account, All well, good and easy, I changed all of my online accounts - Paypal, ebay, amazon from my Santander Debit card to my Halifax Debit Card, again all well and Good, BUT:mad: I forgot to change my Amazon Sellers Account, and it pays out automatically, I have know realised this and changed it, but it was on the 30th January that they sent £22.13 to my closed santander account and know I dont know what to do to get it back, still have all of my santander statements and I know the amount sent there and on which day amazon sent it, WHAT CAN I DO, PLEASE HELP.

PS - I know for a lot of people this wouldnt be a lot of money but for me this is a hell of a lot, Thanks for any replies I get in advanced

This happened to me, and about a week later Amazon emailed me to say the payment had bounced. I changed my payment details and they resent.

When the account is closed it should then be put into a holding account by the bank (I doubt someone has the exact same sort code and account number) which will then be returned to Amazon automatically. Although you might have to chase it up as this is Santander we're talking about :D

Your problem isn't with Santander, it is with Amazon. Any communication will need to go through them.

There are options to either email or phone their seller support down the right hand side.
