ten weeks ago i decided after getting ppi on a loan in the summer i would try on my credit card, got a letter back from lloyds in days saying they were looking into my claim and would contact me within 12 weeks, last week i got a letter upholding my claim i have had the credit card nearly 20 years and they have made me a huge offer.

it is enought to pay off my credit card and overdraft in full.

i called them in the summer when they were slow so praise where praise is due they seem to have got there act together lately.

well done thats brilliant. I have a claim going through Lloyds at the moment for PPI on my mortgage. I also have a credit card with them which I have had for years. How do you know if you can claim on that?

Hi well done I am in the same boat with the loan and then putting in a claim against my cc! Can I as when you put ur claim in ? And is it now a platinum card? And did they compound the interest over the period?!

hi i sent letter on 22nd nov stating have been self employed for many years and was told at the time had to have ppi to get card, got a letter 7 days later stating they had received it and would issue a result in 12 weeks which would take it to feb 14th, got reply on 31st jan saying upheld, will send cheque and 8% interest.u need to check ur cc statements if it says insurance on it after every months payments than u have a course to request a refund.hope this helps if u need any further info u can always email me throught the private messages, will help if i can.

I too have made a claim against Lloyds on our platinum CC. Am awaiting an outcome. I know we definitely had PPI as my husband applied for a card in a meeting at the branch when trying to close his bank account and the woman told him he had to have the cover or he would not be approved.

This dates back to 2005, but I have no paperwork to prove we had the PPI as I only keep one years' statements, but I know we did, especially since I remember writing the letter to cancel it a couple of years back. I just hope they accept our claim and don't reject it just on the basis of us not having any old statements

Also waiting on a claim from Llyods called them on 13th jan and had a comfirmation letter a week later with details of the loans and cc. 10 loans and 2 cc so hoping we get something back!!! fingers crossed guys
