hi just a few questions if anyone can shed any light...
do you have to declare your tour bonus for tax credits purposes as income?
and ditto LSA and /or LOA?
Thanks in advance!

Not true. The ops bonus is not taxable is it? So no you don't. Anything which is taxable has to be declared I know lsa is for example.0

LOA isnt taxed either0

Hello helsee,
All income must be declared. If you are unsure it would be best to seek guidance from HM Revenue & Customs: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/

The advice given here by a federation of all people is incorrect. Only TAXABLE income is declarable for tax credits. Think commitment bonus, lsa.
Anything which is not taxable. So htd, ops bonus, maintenance, etc is not included or declarable when working out tax credits.0 -
The only people that can actually answer the question, is the HMRC themselves.
Your crewroom buddy, mate down the pub or an MSE Forum user will not have to explain themselves to HMRC.

Some of us do know, though!
Basic rule of thumb, if it's tax-free or tax-exempt, it doesn't count for tax credits.
Op Allowance DEFINITELY doesn't count for tax credits, nor does it count with the CSA for maintenance payments.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0
