Foundation at 50

Sigh..I think I look worse with foundation now at 50, it sinks in and shows of wrinkles round the eyes, using touch eclat under it looks bad too.
When I have to put a face on, I use avon powder stuff, the mineral type..still not great.
My younger and elder sis almost 60 have great skin..but they can afford fancy products!0 -
I'm not quite 50 (hanging on to being 43 for a few more days yet!) and for everyday I used No7 tinted moisturiser. It's nice and light.
I also usually put a little of Avon's mineral powder on top.0 -
i have the added prob of wearing the old fashiond gas permeable lenses and have trouble with powdery bits getting in the eye.. putting on shadow is tricky whichever way I try, putting a base all over to set the shadow on is just too much gunk arouind the eyes for me.
not tried tinted moisturiser ever .. cant convince myself it will work. i use no7 base products.
if only we were back in our teens and have girly sleepovers and make up swaps ! i recall getting rimmel shadow stick for 30p ! white was popular for discos !0 -
I am in my 50s and i also found foundation to much for my skin. The one i am using at the moment is No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream in medium for dry/very dry skin. I am really liking it. If you have got a really nice Boots No7 counter they will help you and maybe give you a sample to try at home.0

Im 50 and have been using Rimmel 25 hour lasting finish foundation and find it suits my skin. I did use a Avon foundation for years but felt like a change. My mum never use to use any foundation just a bit of face powder when she was going somewhere special and she had great skin.0
