replace missing car service record document - how?
Hi
Starting point, so apologise if this a daft question.....but my wife's car was bought without the service record document - is this the correct name?. We have the reg document, mot's etc, but no service record book.
It is a Hyundai.
As we are looking to sell it soon, any idea if i can get a replacement?
Cheers

A log book is the registration document.
If you're just after a replacment manual, best place is to try ebay"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
sorry i was being thick...i mean the service record booklet, not log book/reg document - have changed the opening thread now.0

Not all cars have them. I know my Mazda doesn't - all the services are recorded online.
If Hyundai do still use them, you can buy a new service history book, and ask the dealer who did the services to stamp it up.
If you have them, invoices are worth more than a stamped book though.0 -
They sell on Ebay for about a fiver, they have loads on there.

The ease of getting them is why you shouldn't trust a service book without the accompanying invoices!0
