I'm looking to invest and save £160000 in two accounts
1 high interest bond type account with little or no access for one year, with monthly interest payments to live on.
2 A high interest instant access savings account for day to day spending and emergencies.
I'm not sure how to split it up and which accounts to go for.
Seems the only way to find out is to open an account and see, can't seem to get any real answers from the companies themselves.
Currently living in UK but wanting sell up and move to Turkey and rent an apartment and pay the rent and stuff out of my investments i'm about to make so have to get as much as possible for the money i will have when we sell the house we're in now.
Any thoughts, advice, experiences would be great to hear about.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Alan.
