Car radio switching itself on.

Was out with a friend yesterday and the car radio switched itself on every 10 mins or so, any idea why?

    That sounds the most reasonable suggestion. Mine does that because I keep the RDS 'TP' option on.
    BBC local stations tend to send traffic signals every 20 mins.
