AA Home Emergency Insurance

Does anyone have experience of AA Home emergency response insurance. I have recently been let down badly by Homeserve who I had taken out insurance with for past 3 years to cover drains/pipes etc. When my outside drains completely backed up they could not come out for 3 days!! I was so desperate I had it sorted out for a truly whopping £436. I`m not keen to be stung again, either by emergency response or the AA. Has anyone had similar problem promptly sorted out by AA as I`m considering them. Thanks.
