    Bank of Scotland is offering 3.70% for two years and accepts transfers in.http://www.bankofscotland.co.uk/isas/cash-isas/fixed-cash-isa/
    Note that you must use their ISA switching service - see link for details of how to open an ISA account and how to transfer.
  • Once you've maxed your ISA, try a credit union ^_^;

    (Yes I'm currently fighting their corner). Credit Unions oft provide better interest rates and also help the local community. Depending on the credit union of course, but the majority have that aim.
    Be Warned: Any decision made by ATOS should be treated with the contempt and suspicion in rightly deserves. If in any doubt, make sure to appeal any and all decisions by ATOS. Do not take their word for it, do not give them an inch of trust.

    When judging if ATOS were fit for work, it looks like they self-assessed. //Rant-Disclaimer End.

    I agree with using a discount broker for funds or shares.

    For the investment trust savings plan you go direct to the trust you have chosen and open one (many have ISAs available). Go to trustnet to look at different trusts as well as motley fool website, thisismoney, and other financial websites.

    3.9% for 2 years or 4.2% for 3 years unless you are transferring from a Natwest or RBS ISA.
