Co-Op Bank acc? Check your standing orders

Had a letter on friday telling us 3 standing orders were not paid as there were 'No Funds Available'. This was odd as I don't use that account for paying out, apart from the bills. Another acc has spending money.

Anyway, spoke to a nice lady who told me on the 1st of February there was a problem with standing orders, and many were not paid!

she made faster payments to all 3 of my standing orders so hopefully none of them will notice and be on my back come monday.

I am a bit pee'd off though, if Co-Op are aware of this problem why did they not contact their customers or get the problem sorted out and payments made?

So, if you have a Co-Op account, check your standing orders.

I got sent a letter saying that 2 of my SOs had none-FPS compatible sort code and account numbers and they couldn't make the payments until I had updated the details to FPS compatible ones. I ignored the letter and the payments were still made.

Maybe its something similar? Only you didn't get the letter and your payments were not made!
