Student Overdraft

Hello, I am a mature student at university and a couple of years ago in my youth built up some bad credit. I am slowly building up my credit and i have applied for a student account with natwest 2 weeks ago and have only recieved a welcome pack but nothing that states anything about an overdraft.
My question is, is it possible to be able to have a student account but not be given the overdraft?
Thank You

It is possible. I am sure NatWest can do it also. I applied for a Student Account with them and it asks if you want an over draft. (I said yes and got declined for the account - idiot!) Maybe you ticked no as you didn't want it, but just don't remember ticking no.
I am with barclays and don't have an over draft facility on my Student Account.SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,0000
