I got 2 lovely Armani ladies watches at Goldsmiths as you had to spend over £200 there so one for me and one for my mum for xmas!

One was £99 and the other £150 so it worked out £62.50 in vouchers for 2 lovely watches.

We also spend them in Yates's and The Slug & Lettuce to get lunch if we are in town. They have added more restaurants recently but I think it's not fair as a lot of them are in London or down south which in North Wales is not much use to me!!

My dream clubcard deal (how SAD!?) would be if they added Total Fitness Gym Membership as can't justify the real cost - not really a fitness freak but could do Yoga and things I do now and go in the lovely pool / steam room / sauna as well which would be fab.

    That's it

ps Just thought to add this, boring - but practical moneysaving. I got my car serviced (had to have it done for the manufacturers warrantee) at the local Nationwide Autocentre and have had MOT's there too. Nice to get it free with the vouchers as it's one of those necessary things that it's horrible to fork out cash for.
  • Hi

we went to colchester zoo last time (the kids loved it) and we have used part of ours to go to Duxford Imperial War museum this time (kids enjoyed but would suit 8+ more!) im keeping the rest and im hoping to save for holiday

Saving ours up for our wedding rings from Goldsmiths. Really pleased as we would have not been able to afford decent wedding rings but now we can! I need to save up £700 for both of ours! I have £140 so far, should be getting £320 this time so only £240 left from the next 2 statements. Fingers crossed I can get more and then I can buy some gifts as well!

That's exactly what I'm doing!! We got my engagement ring from there and used £80 (£320) towards those. OH didn't really want to as he thought he should pay for the whole lot, but I don't care. Money saved is money saved! I got a a £2k ring for under £1700, which is a pretty good saving in my book.

Our wedding isn't until next summer, so got plenty of time to save up the vouchers. I'm hoping we should be able to save enough to pay for the rings and perhaps some gifts too.

I know someone on here said they didn't like the jewellery, but I think most of it is really nice.

I used to spend mine instore until I found this site, now I have used them for RAC and Bella Italia.

Thanks for the feedback on Goldsmith and MFI though, never thought of those - need to look at the whole list of places you can use them ;)

  • Spent last quarters on RAC membership for me and hubby - saved a fortune as we both used to do separate membership with our car insurances.

Not sure what to spend this quarters on - has anyone had the letter saying if you 'buy' a deal online they will credit you an additional 500 points (cant remember the actual wording and have binned the letter)? I'm planning to 'buy' one deal at 250 points for Drayton Manor or the Sea Life centre just to get the extra points.
  • Ive been shopping with Tescos for 12 months now and so far my Deals have paid for a family holiday to Portugal, £300 gold bangle and a £200 gold chain from Goldsmiths, several meals out at Bella Italia and Livebait, numerous days out with the kids and me and my boyfriend have just enjoyed a lovely weekend at the Leeds Marriott Hotel. I am eagerly anticipating another £200 worth of Clubcard points (£800 in deals) in the post shortly. Thinking of treating myself to a gold watch from Goldsmiths.

    Decisions, decisions...:D

Am hoping to take the family to Florida in June or July. Just need to work out best way to do it.

Would it be best just to book with Cosmos or Virgin and pay for the whole lot with vouchers (I will have about £2850 after this mailing arrives)?

Would it be better sell the vouchers and pay cash with a cheaper tour operator?

Is there an even better way such as paying for flights and car hire with vouchers and paying cash for accomodation?

Any advise from those who have already done this would be appreciated.

Personally I'd go with Virgin they have an offer on which finishes tonight for dates in June from £599 14 nights in a Disney resort. You'd need to phone asap.
