The OH got a morning driving a Ferrari round a race track for his 40th birthday  Then with this quarters we have enough for a couple of nights in a hotel to make a weekend of it. Can't wait.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

We've been looking at the VIRGIN brochures and nothing jumps out, similarly with COSMOS. They all seem so expensive, I'd rather get a late deal holiday. I'm really hoping for another MFI-type of store joining the CC scheme. Dont suppose anyone has heard any early rumours of IKEA joining or any other DIY store? I guess I'll just keep hold of them until something comes on board that catches my eye.
Try a holiday deal with xl. The price is their regular website price and very competitive. :T0 -
Has anyone got a quote with Cunard or P&O cruises? I know they are new to clubcard and wondered if they charge the same if you are using deals vouchers as if you were a normal paying customer? I am going to ring them this week but if anyone has experience of this already then it would be great so I can be better prepared for the conversation on the phone... ;-)Tesco is my second home:j0

Excuse my ignorance; I'm fairly new to the clubcard scene and have been shopping on line using bonus codes etc to get a few points up over the last 3 months. So far i have about 2000, worth as i see it £80.00 in deals tokens?
What's the "deal"? I was planning on exchanging them for a trip with the GF to a Hilton hotel. Do we have to buy the Hilton tokens via Tesco then speak to hilton to book the room? Or do we call Hilton and pay off in Clubard vouchers & cash?
Also... Are they face value? I.e £80.00 of deals tokens will be literally £80.00 off the cost or would Hilton inflate the price of the basic room 1st?
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks

There are instructions on the Tesco website about how to redeem them -- the Hilton ones are quite complicated, involving various bits of voucher being sent back and forth. You have to book on the phone and they would only let me book certain rooms (expensive ones, about £180 per night) but when it came to paying, they just accepted them as £80 off the cost - i.e. you could top up with cash.0 -
i used mine on bsm driving pack, that includes books, L plates, cd, 6 hours driving lesson, 2 hours simulator that can be converted into another driving lesson if learning automatic. worth £240. OH and I are well impressed with the deal and very happy with it. i only bought one pack as i didn't have enough vouchers, somebody actually bought multiple packs to pay for the driving lessons enough to take the test, unfortunately bsm already closed down this loophole, only one pack per customer.0

Has anyone had any good deals using airmiles (not ba). It seems you get very little for them?0

THink the Avis are quite good. I considered converting all my clubcard to airmiles for this as i have loads of airmiles also but in the end I needed them in a hurry and thought the clubcard woudl be faster.
You don't look to get nearly as much but then if you ask it turns out that the price of the car starts a lot cheaper so it comes out about the same in the end.. Specially useful if you ahve some of each.£2 saver club £16 so far!! - it's growing!!! :j

We've paid for out entire Siblu holiday in the SOuth of France (3 weeks because if you go outside the school holidays you pay for 2 weeks and they give you an extra week free then they also give you a free week in September). And I've got almost enough for the car hire to go with itl. This is fantastic for us as we've been there for the last 5 years and would have gone again anyway so a real freebie. Many thanks to all those on here who have helped by showing me how to grow the points!!£2 saver club £16 so far!! - it's growing!!! :j
