RBS Visa Debit Protection

Hi,

I have a visa debit card with RBS which I used recently to buy a few items from one retailer. When I received the parcel, I only received 3 out of the 5 items. I have contacted the retailer who are insisting that all the items were sent.

Could someone advise me on what I could do on this matter to get a refund for the missing items?

Thanks in advance.

Were the items sent by a recorded or tracked service?

Google "Visa Chargeback" and take it up with RBS.

They were sent via a recording delivery using Yodel delivery company. The retailer has said as they have signatures to prove that everything was packed into the parcel and as the driver at Yodel is saying that the parcel was not tampered with, they will not take this further.

So everything was inside a single package, it was not tampered with, you signed for it, but it didn't contain all the items you purchased?

That's an ugly situation, I don't think any bank would be able to decide which of you is right...

A signature is not proof that all items ordered were placed into the box. Anyone can put 3 items in a box and say they put 5 items in.

You need to raise a formal complaint.
