I have already got Adobe Acrobat 5 on my pc, ut tried to download some english worksheets (pdf) for my daughter. It wouldn't do it, so I decided to update. Been to the site and downloaded all the stuff including the photo thing. The last part where "Adobe Reader 8 -Setup" comes up says there is a problem
"Some files that need to be updated are currently in use.
The following applications *are using files that need to be updated by this setup. Close these applications and click Retry to continue. If Retry is not successful, please restart your computer and then run setup again.
*Adobe Reader."
I'm stuck now, I've clicked Retry- nothing, I've restarted- nothing. I don't understand why it says that Adobe Reader is in use cos it aint.
Any ideas?

If it's XP then sorry I don't know, someone else might be able to help.0 -

Have you tried uninstalling adobe reader 5 first?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Nope, probably should have, but I didn't want to unistall it and then find out that I cant install the new one. I'd be left with nothing then0

It sounds like one of the files has been locked by Windows. Have you tried re-booting you PC and giving it another go?0
