Hi. Was wondering if the clever E-bayers out there could pass on some advise. I have got some things to sell (in the region of 30-40) and was wondering what the cheapest way of selling them was. Do i have to pay for each item listed or is there another way of doing it. They would mostly be listed under 1 categorie but under different sections Any help most welcome
Nice to save.

it depends what type of item is really and how much it is worth
the cheapest way to list an item is to start at the lowest price possible (eg 1p to 99p) but then you run the risk that it sells for its starting price if it is not a popular item
if it is not a popular item then you should either:
start it at the lowest price you are willing to accept
put a reserve price of the lowest you are willing to accept (reserve prices have to be £50 or more)
list it as a buy it now auction for the price you would like
list it as a buy it now with best offer for slightly higher than you would like so somebody may use buy it now, or you could accept a slightly lower offer0 -
The cheapest ways involve cheating the system!! like listing items but pulling the auctions to sell outside ebay once you get a few interested emailers!! I did that will my old car which i sold recently.0

Thanks for this but still wanting to know if I have to pay for every item listed or is there a way of "block" listing different items and paying lessNice to save.0

Yes every item will have a listing fee. You can save money by waiting on cheap listing dates.0

Listing something at like 99p only costs 15 pence with one picture. Extra pics cost more money.0

I've seen people who sell stuff like a 'bundle' or 'lot' of clothes (say a dozen pairs of jeans or a collection of tops etc) I think then they pay one listing fee (haven't done it myself...so check the rules) but then they have to describe each item in the 'bundle' when they do the info bit of the listing which seems a bit tedious...I've never sold things this way but seems like an option0

Wait until ebay offers a cheap listing day .They normally offer it once a month sometimes more.
The next cheap listing day is:
Half Price Listing Day – Tuesday 20th February 2007
Listing 30 -40 items in one day would be quite time consuming .You can download ebays own listing software called turbo lister. ~
Using ebays software enables you to organise and set up your listings. So when the cheap listing day arrives you are not rushing and being stressed out trying to set up your listings.Just click one button and upload your prelisted listings in one big go.
Turbo lister is free and would recommend anyone to give it a try.0 -
Like someone has already mentioned the only way to do what you are suggesting is to list on a cheap listing day. You will always have to pay listing fees, there is no getting out of that! you can use a photo hosting site etc to not pay for photos..
Basically no, there is no way of getting out of paying the fees, you are using a service after all!!! (Not that I agree with the cost of these bloomin fees!!! )Angel0 -
Well your very vauge on what your trying to say.
If they are all different items, then yes seperate listing for each and pay.
If you identical items then you can list them as multiple itemMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
