Not very much. Just a quick google reveals the honda civic 1.4 is 44MPG and the honda accord 2.0 is 38MPG.hi, im looking to buy a honda accord 55 2.0 manuel, but worry if it is going to be expensive to run compared to my old honda civic 1.4 auto 1997. i use it to commute to work , can somebody tell me the difference
So you'll get 14% less miles for the same fuel each week. Or about 17% more fuel each week for the same distance travelled. Being 8 years newer and manual it probably won't even be that much more at all.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Depends what sort of journey your commute to work is. If it's mainly motorway, then you may find that the more powerful 2.0-litre engine could be more fuel efficient as it will be more relaxed and not working as hard as the 1.4-litre at motorway speeds.0
