Hello, did you find information on how to complete the N244 form ? I've made a blunder on my MCOL with barclays and the N244 looks a little daunting. Thanks Merv.

    3. Is this agreed by all parties? Yes No its advisbale to write and get the okay in principle from the bank first before applying for the amendment depending on the court they charge £65 for nonagreed amendments and £35 for agreed ones
    4. Give dates of any trial period or fixed trial date if you already have a court date enter it here

    Part B
I (We) wish to rely on: tick one box
the attached (witness statement)(affidavit) my statement of case
evidence in Part C in support of my application - tick this one

THEN attach to the form the new N1 claim form with particulars, any changes from the original are to be written in RED ink and underlined.

You need three copies of the N1, schedule of charges if thats changed, attached to the N244 form.

    Hope that helps a bit.

Be simpler to help if I know what the alterations needed are.

  • I'm just in the process of doing the N244 form, and re-doing the N1 form and i've just got a quick question...

When re-doing the particulars of claim on the N1 form which bits need writing in red and underlining? I did the PoC through MCOL last time, and this time I am doing it by hand on the paper form, therefore the whole thing is going to be different in theory because it will be a longer winded version! Do I therefore underline the whole thing, or just the main parts that have changed (in my case the reason I am doing the N244 is because the amount has changed)?

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Thanks!
