Reasonable Cost of Oil Leak Repair

I have a 1999 Renault Clio with an oil leak. The garage has said it is coming from the Oil Pressure Sensor and has quoted ~£120.
I am wondering if this is a fair price? Does the switch need replacing, or just tightening up? The garage says that the engine would need to be removed - does that sound right?
Just hoping for a sanity check before instructing the garage.
Thanks

Usually a fairly straight forward replacement but access can be a bit fiddly - the part will be cheap enough but I'd be questioning your garage - £120 inc parts for a job that requires the engine removing... not unless they're on a tenner an hour!0

I'd get a second quote.
I don't know your car. but sensors are less than a tenner, and often on the front on the block, near the filter.0 -
Somethings wrong somewhere, is it a clio with that big horrible guzzly engine in or a cooking 1.2?0

may not be the correct one ,but rough idea of the cost
can't you find a mate to change it
or buy a workshop manual from haulfrauds and try it yourself ?0 -
The engine won't need to come out for that and if it did the cost would be a damn site more than £120, take it somewhere else for a second diagnosis and quote.0

the clio's oil pressure sender has a weak thin washer on them prone to causing a leak, just remove sender fit another washer over the top of the existing one and put PTFE (white tape) ocer the threads problem solved.0
