How long after an interview should you hear something?

I had 3 interviews at the start of the week, All 3 said I'd find out by the end of the week, I've heard nothing from any of them. Should I now just take it I didn't get the jobs?

No, don't lose hope. It might be that they have lots of people to get back to or are behind schedule. I'd wait until maybe Tuesday of next week before jumping to any conclusions. Best of luck.0

Unfortunately i'm finding that a lot of comapnies don't get back to you even after interview these days. I can understand not responding to CV's, after all they must get hundreds but not replying to people who have taken the time and effort to learn about the company, prepare for the interview and not forgetting taking the time to attend the interview, I think is the height of bad manners by the company involved.
Unfortunately I would say that it is the "bigger" companies who are more at fault.
Hope you get some good news soon.0 -

Don't let them get away with not informing you in one way or another and follow up your application. It is discourteous of any employer to do this especially after you have attended an interview and too many of them treat you like S**t.0

Its really !!!!!! me of as the interview went so well, they guy acted like a mate. The store isn't opened yet so don't have a contact number.0 -
Its all go this morning. Friday must be the day you find out if you've got the job. Monday is the day they let you down. 1 rejection in the post and 2 by email. Wish I could get some feedback as to where I went wrong, you know when you make a mess up at an interview, but when it all goes right its more mind boggling.Thank you for recently attending an interview for the position of Customer Assistant - Part Time.
Following your interview we have been able to review your application in more detail. It is with regret that on this occasion we will not be progressing your application any further.
We appreciate that you may be disappointed, but may we take this opportunity to wish you every success in your current job search and thank you once again for applying.
Kind Regards,

A few months ago now i had interviewed for a job and the interviewer said i'd know something before the end of next week..to my shock and horror i did get a call, not exactly what i wanted to hear but fair play to the company for ringing back.
Moral of the story is not all companies are ignorant.0 -

You may well have interviewed well, it could just be a case of lots of strong applicants and only a limited number of jobs. Maybe someone else had more experience, lived closer, or they wanted a balance between ages and sexes of the team they were recruiting.
The last time I recruited for 1 part timer I interviewed 7 candidates and would have been happy with any of them, with 5 being very good. But of course there was only 1 job so 6 got rejected.0 -
I would definitely recommend responding to the email, requesting more detailed feedback as to why you didn't get the job. If they have notified lots of people by email, it may be that not everyone is as assertive and just accepts the email at face value. It can't hurt to ask and any feedback they do provide can only help for your next interview.
Good luck with the job hunt.0
