NS&I Easy Access Closing

Hello ,

We have just been notified that this account is closing in July.
My wife has been using this as it is convienient as you can use the post Office to pay in and out.She likes to use this as it is seperate from our normal finances.
Does anyone know of any similar accounts. No large amounts kept in the account.
I would imagine the closure of this must have caused a lot of problems for OAP's who don't have Internet knowledge and used it as a useful account for putting some of their pensions in.

Most building societies have similar pass-book, low interest, instant access accounts. Try the nearest one to you.

A savings account you can use at the post office. How about a Post Office Instant Saver?
Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place
