Ouch at the car insurance!
Don't let the bank manager talk you into anything on sat.
Has your car loan got PPI on it? if so do you need it?
Have you had much in the way of bank charges in the last 6 years, might be worthwhile getting getting them reclaimed? I would also see if you can get the direct debits dates changed as this would help you.Proud to be dealing with our debts - We WANT to be debt free DEC 09

did you go to the natwest today to pick up your bank statements?
any joy with them?0 -
Have a look online at the Banking Code. It states that banks are supposed to help you and not make things worse (stop laughing you lot:rotfl: ) so if you can quote that at your appointment on Saturday. If you sound as if you know what's what they may take you more seriously.;)
If the bank refuses to budge on your charges you could at least ask them if they will extend your overdraft to cover these charges so that they do not keep piling up. Then when you have changed to another bank you can gradually pay off the overdraft.
Send your phone thing to the chap recorded delivery asap - once he has signed for it he can't deny that you sent it. You can always put an answer in if he has left you negative feedback. If you check you will probably find that your original item description is still there so you will soon be able to show that you said item was used.
Good luck with all this - it's so annoying isn't when these small but !!!!!! things happen!!0
