I'm not a student myself but I have just accidently come accross this website while reading an online newspaper article so thought I would post it here. I did a brief search to see if it had been posted before and nothing showed up so thought it was worth a post. The idea is that your family offer a room to a student and you swap with another student and stay with their family.

It's a cute idea. I'm not sure my family would go for it though...Sealed Pot Challenge #239

I agree it does depend on your personal situation and obviously every family is different but I think it is a great idea and will really help some families who financially can't help their son/daughter with accommadation costs etc. If they are willing to take a student into their home it will also give their son/daughter a chance to do a course which maybe they don't have the choice to do if they were to stay at home and go to their local uni.To be in your child's memories tomorrow, be in their life today.0

As a parent, worrying about the whereabouts of your own child at 2am is bad enough, worrying about someone else's is not for me. I know they are adults and you would have no responsibility in law, but if anything were to happen....I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. ^ Yes, but for anyone who would be thinking about taking part, those concerns are perfectly valid and very important to think about and point out.0
