ive lost the little bit that connects the microwave turntable to the glass microwavable plate

where do i get this bit from?

The manufacturers of your microwave? They're all different; perhaps subtly, but enough that a competitors' item may not fit. If you can find the part number on the maker's support pages, you might find a cheaper item elsewhere via Google.

Cheaper still; any idea where you lost it?

Try https://www.espares.co.uk got my replacement glass turntable there. They have just about every widget & gizmo & "thingy" for most white goods.

It's usually called a drive cube IIRC and you would need the make and model of the microwave to get it. If you can, a lot of them have no parts available.

If all else fails, try your local tip, mine always have a few. That's where i got my replacement glass turntable. Took me 3 trips to get the right one but was worth it given the cost to buy.
