Citi Bank Problem

My oh has just received his citi bank card 4 days ago. Sent of the letter 3 days ago to change over all the direct debits and wages. Had to do it from next month as they needed 16 days notice.
Got paid yesterday and for some reason the wages went into the citi bank, but all the direct debits are still on his old account wich is norwich and peterbrough. He relised this last night, the 1st direct debit is due to come out today so i went down the norwich and Peterbrough first thing this morning to pay in £500 to cover all the direct debits but he is still being charged £48.50 for not havnt the funds for the direct debit which comes out today!
Is there any thing he can do as citi banks mistake has cost him £48.50 and Norwich and Peterbrough wont refund charges.

I'd just call them up and ask to speak to a Manager, refuse to hang up until this has been sorted out.0

Hi i was due to be paid on the 14th feb and there was no wages into the citibank :mad: and still no sign today the details are right but when i phoned citibank all they said there has been no wages paid into your citibank :mad: i said yes that what i have just told so i am not happy:money: :dance: :hello:0
