    That's good. there are some brilliant deals when the kids are at school! We had 3 nights AI in a 4* in Cala Ratjada - 2 adults, flights, car hire and airport parking for less than £300 last year. I couldn't believe it, fabulous!

    on thomsons, search hotel only, majorca for the end of april. see if theres any good prices left. you might have to check a few dates, or a random number of nights. then just try and find cheap flights to match..

  • I have booked this holiday when it first came on here and I called today to upgarde to half board and they have now told me that I will probably not get this holiday at that price as it has been a mistake. The lady told me that she had put it throught to pricingto check as this is not the correct price and that she will call me back tomorrow to see what is to happen.

    Do anyone know where we stand with this as we have booked flights and car hire etc.
  • well ive booked 6 nights. the hotel is always this sort of price at this time of year i always go in april abroad and have noticed this hotel the past 2 years at this sort of price. they better not cancel my hol.
  • Yes zzxxcc1122 you are correct we have also been the last 2 years at this price that is why this has come as a big shock to me. Last year we went in the first week in April half board very cheapily.
    The year before we also went in the May for an excellent price, I think it may have been the lady in customer services who has brought this to a head. I have just got off the phone to Thomsons customer services and the nice lady that I got has said that they have barred it from the site to investigate it and will call me back tomorrow.
  • wish u hadnt called or just hang up. it may be a mistake but i doubt it i think it may be the first week of the season hence why its so cheap. it may just be the operator thinking that the price we paid isnt right as it was so cheap. when in fact every year they have hotels at such low prices i think just to fill them up
  • 3. If We Cancel Your Booking
    We aim to provide your accommodation as booked. But if, for example, you do not pay the balance of the accommodation price on time, we may cancel it. We reserve the right to cancel your booking in any circumstances but if we cancel your booking, except where this is because you have not paid, you can either have a full refund or accept replacement accommodation from us of equivalent or closely similar standard and price (if one is available) This can include the choice of a replacement accommodation from another TUI Travel Group company. Should you choose this option the terms and conditions of your holiday will not change and these conditions will still apply to your booking. and we will always refund the difference in price if the replacement accommodation is of a lower standard and price. Other than in the case of non-payment, we will not cancel your booking less than 12 weeks before you go, unless this is the result of an event that is out of our control, such as war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events.


    please highlight the following sentence that thomson willnot cancel your booking less than 12 weeks before travel well its about 7 weeks till i go so it appears they cannot cancel the booking

    we will not cancel your booking less than 12 weeks before you go, unless this is the result of an event that is out of our control, such as war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events

    Just had our hotel cancelled, offered a completely ridiculous alternative, just been talked at like I was stupid by a very rude member of staff. Time for a complaint I feel...
