Egg, Top Up Loans and Timings!

Hi Guys,
I hope you can help. I got my statements from Egg today and was hoping for some advice.
Basically I had a loan through Egg that was topped up on 2 further occassions, each time it was topped up they changed the loan account number. Basically the timeline goes as follows:
First Loan taken out May 2001.
Topped up Aug 2002
Topped up April 2004
Loan paid off June 2009
So I currently have zero balance on the loan.
I am pretty sure that the initial loan had PPI but it isnt mentioned on the statement.
The two subsequent statements do both detail the PPI at the beginning of the top up term. These were £2,171.40 and £2,240.63 respectively.
Given the timings of these top ups would I still be able to claim them? I think I am right in thinking that the final top up should be ok seeing as it was only paid off in 2009, what about the ones before that seeing as they ended nearly 8 and 10 years ago, but were top ups, so could possibly be argued they were all part of the same loan that was only paid off in 2009?
Anyway, any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If any/all apply to you, thenm put a claim in,send copies of the loan documents you have and ask them to look at all the loans that were topped up from the first loan.0 -
Hi,
Looking at the PPI guide, my first steps are to send a letter to my loan provider asking for a refund. I have a few questions about this:
Do I include the PPI Consumer questionnnaire with this? Or is this only for when sending to the Financial Ombudsman?!
Do I just state on the letter "Please refund me the PPI, the interest I have had to pay on top of the PPI over the term of the loan as well as the 8% interest a court would give to compensate my loss?!"
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.0 -
You fill the questionnaire in,keep a copy in case this goes to FOS,saves you filling it in again.Hi,

They work the redress out you don't have to,there is room on the questionnaire for additional info, put here all the loans and that each one was cleared with the one after.0
