Some card ppi gave you the chance to opt out of ppi online,if you had a decent sick pay and life insurance, then write back to them ask them to look at the claim again, put what you posted here regarding the ppi box.
If you had life cover and sick pay then tell them you would not have taken ppi as the life and sick pay would have covered you ,so why take out ppi?.

They could have rejected this because you may have given them the wrong application route, they may think you are trying it on.
Look here for other reasons for mis sell and put anymore that apply to you.

  • well after carefully reading my rejection from mbna, i noticed they said i had ticked the ppi box in jan 09, they kindly included copies of this:rotfl:, then i noticed the date of ticking the box was march 08!!!!!! i then checked my credit file and the credit card in question was actually opened in jan 08??? so now im really confused, shall i write to them again with photo copies of my evidence, i also did have a few cards with them, not at the same time but over a period, can i put all the account numbers on the one application or do i have to do it one by one?? any help please
