Claim Rejected but FOS overturned decision

If there is a thread like this elsewhere please feel free to point me to it but seeing as though i am going to be contacting the FOS for the first time I am just wondering how many people have had a rejection overturned by the FOS.

I am just wondering how many people have had a rejection overturned by the FOS.

The FOS were upholding 92% of PPI complaints until recently. It has since dropped to 68%. This is in part to the backlog getting auto upheld by some after the judicial review (so that slants the percentage upwards). However, since then, some firms are now looking more closely at cases and not auto upholding as many. Plus, claims companies are submitting so many fraudulent, try-it-on complaints and these hit the stats. Whilst some get lucky, others never have a chance but still go to the FOS and rejection is the obvious outcome.

You cannot really generalise as we dont know the PPI you have, your reasons for complaint and what evidence you have to support your complaint.
