  • But as Apples said, before you do any of the contacting thing, get yourself a new unrelated bank account and have your wages paid in there.

There's no doubt that giving them the heads up will be the trigger to raid your account, and there's nothing you can do to stop that. Make the new account priority 1 (and be sure to tell your employer the new details), THEN let them know you have a problem. If two of them are going to make you default before they will pretend to listen, what do you have to lose? Your credit file must be trashed anyway to need to use them, so nothing to protect there.

Deep breath, and take said bull by the horns :D

  • I confessed all to my mum and she bailed me out (again) so not for the first time! Wasn't happy but it saves me paying 80quid a month on each of them to keep on extending. She's put them on a 0% credit card so ill pay her 100pound a month. Got a question... I looked at my credit report with noddle, and no suprise it is very poor 1/5. Also looked at credit search history and there's loads of searches from payday loan companies! How long will they stay on there? How can i get rid of them?

You can't get rid of them, your credit report is an accurate description of your credit history. The searches will remain on your file for 12 months I believe.

You can't get rid of them, and it'll probably do you a favour them being there for a while. It'll stop you being tempted to get any more loans out while you pay your mum off. ;)

Also don't let your Mum use her card details directly to pay,
just thinking of the recent stories of the continuous card payment authorities some of the PDL lenders like to use!

I used www.xxxxxx they were ace, no messing and the cash in straight away. Interest was a bit urgent but as a lender of last resort they were top notch.
