Re the feb comp - did anbody else receive an email today telling them it had been a technical error that had occured telling them they had won and sorry but it was all a big mistake??

You'd think a company the size of L'oreal would have taken a different approach to cutomer relations given that the 'error' was at their end.

The success of our recent L’Oreal Insider competition and the overwhelming demand for samples led to some technical difficulties with our site. This meant that our server processed your request even though all samples had been allocated. We sincerely apologise for the disappointment this has caused you.

The successful winners were chosen at random, unfortunately we have checked the winners database and I regret that on this occasion you were not successful.

I have not received this email.......yet, but what an absolute cop-out.
Maybe they should publish a list of all the winners?

Just to add to the bizarreness of this response from L'Oreal the original offer stated ''The first 4300 entrants will each receive a Hair Expertise 250ml shampoo and conditioner'' There was no mention of winners being chosen at random as stated in the email!

Same response, I didn't win after all
